  • 3 Accomplishments for the Week

  1. Started on my presentation for the Symposium.

  2. Nearly finished with my paper.

  3. All of my notes are finalized

  • 3 Obstacles that Prevented Me from doing my Best Work

  1. I had to redo my methodology due to it not being up to par after feedback. The feedback was not the obstacle, my mistakes were.

  2. Finding a suitable map to display my information was a slight challenge. There were also issues with downloading the map.

  3. My overthinking when it comes to presenting. I still moved too fast when practicing.

  • 3 Things I Learned This Week

  1. Learned more about how to properly represent marginalized voices from Dr. Greene

  2. More ways how to make an effective slideshow. For example, make sure the text on a slide is easily readable by choosing a large enough font.

  3. There are a variety of conferences to attend around the nation with various conditions on how to get into those conferences. Also, some conferences can be scams (charging outrageous prices).
