  • 3 Accomplishments for the Week

  1. Finding a decent number of sources I know I can use later on for my paper (a follow-up from last week's accomplishment).

  2. I was able to successfully use Zotero, a tool I had never heard of before Wednesday, fairly easily.

  3. Accessing the 4th floor of McCain was pretty cool and I think counts as an accomplishment since most people are restricted from visiting it.

  • 3 Obstalces that Prevented Me from doing my Best Work

  1. A combination of exhaustion and procrastination on Thursday made progress on searching for sources a slow day.

  2. The variety of documents that I am finding makes it hard to get sources that I actually need.

  3. Ancestry decided to not work at all for a bit.

  • 3 Things I Learned This Week

  1. How to analyze metadata and fix issues with it (with the extra issue of dying inside while doing it).

  2. The process of digitizing items and how to properly do it.

  3. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Grad School.
